Dear Staff, Alumni, Parents, Students, and Friends of the Methodist College Community,
It has been my deepest honor to serve as Principal of Methodist College for the past 17 years. Throughout this journey, I have been continually inspired by God’s abundant grace and the unwavering support of this remarkable community. The camaraderie we have shared and the milestones we have achieved together will forever hold a special place in my heart.
As I step into retirement, I am delighted to leave behind two gifts for Methodist College — a small token of my gratitude and commitment to the values we hold dear:
(1) 《循中拾穗》 (MC17 - Methodist College in my time)
This is a modest collection of 17 articles I have written (in Chinese), featuring some key happenings in the College from my years as Principal. For those who were not around in these years, I hope the book will fill the gaps in your knowledge about MC. For those who walked alongside me during this time, may it rekindle our cherished memories.
My heartfelt thanks go to the IMC for their generous support in making this book freely available to all who wish to own a copy. Current staff and students will receive one shortly, while alumni and friends are warmly invited to collect a copy from the General Office.
(2) Miss Emily Wong MCKLN Award
To further uphold MC’s legacy, I have established the captioned award — a scholarship recognizing students who exemplify our core values of being Modest, Caring and Knowledgeable Leaders of the New era. I am grateful to the IMC for accepting my initial donation and invite you to join me in nurturing these ideals. In case you are looking for a retirement gift in my honor, I would greatly prefer your contribution to this award instead. Donations can be made by filling in this form no later than 30 September 2025: Miss Emily Wong MCKLN Award Donation Form .
As I bid farewell, I pray that the Lord — who has guided Methodist College from strength to strength — continues to pour His blessings upon our community, inspiring future generations to connect and shine.
With enduring gratitude,
Miss Wong Pui Yi, Emily
