'Harmonies of Unity' School Choir Pre-tour and Fundraising Concert

We are delighted to announce that the School Choir has been accepted as one of the competition teams of the Taipei International Choral Competition, which will be held in Taipei from 29 July to 1 August. All choir members are excited to have the opportunity to compete with and learn from other leading choirs around the world.

To share the fruits of our choir’s hard work and raise money for those members whose families have difficulties in affording the full cost of the trip, we will be holding the Pre-tour and Fundraising Concert ‘Harmonies of Unity’. 

The repertoire will include choral, solo and instrumental performances. Apart from the performances presented by our students, we are honoured to invite Mr Manson CHEUNG, one of the contestants in the TV show ‘King Maker 3’, as well as the SVA choir, as guest performers. They will not only perform their pieces but also collaborate with our choir.

Details are as follows,

Date: 30 April 2025 (Wednesday)

Time: 7:30-9:30 pm

Venue: Sanctuary, Kowloon Methodist Church (40 Gascoigne Rd, Yau Ma Tei)

Fundraising Target: HK$190,000

Ticket: 1 concert ticket would be offered on every HK$80 donation. We welcome any higher pledge amount.

本校合唱團成功入圍「2025台北國際合唱大賽」，並將於七月往台北參賽及應邀表演。是次比賽乃國際音樂盛事，來自世界各地的頂尖合唱團聚首一堂，相互砥礪。我校有幸入圍，既對合唱團的演出水平予以肯定，亦對我校合唱團發展及學生成長有莫大裨益。

為答謝各界對我校合唱團的支持及籌募是次參賽費用，合唱團將舉行一場籌款音樂會。音樂會節目豐富，除合唱、獨唱及樂器演出外，我校亦有幸邀請兩組嘉賓與同學合作演出。

音樂會詳情如下：

日期： 2025年4月30日 (星期三)

時間： 19:30-21:30

地點： 循道衞理聯合教會九龍堂 (九龍油麻地加士居道四十號)

籌款目標： 港幣$190,000正

門票： 捐款每港幣$80元可獲音樂會門票一張，倘 閣下願意捐助更高金額，不勝感激。
