Join our school for an exciting 4-day STEAM-focused exchange tour to Guangzhou, designed for 26 students from Secondary 1 to 5. From April 17 to 20, this journey showcases cutting-edge technology and arts, fostering hands-on learning and cross-cultural exchanges.

Day 1 highlights key tech destinations, starting with the Bao’an Low-Altitude Public Service Center, where students explore innovations in aerial technology. The Guangdong Academy of Sciences’ Intelligent Systems Exhibition Hall offers insights into advanced AI applications. These experiences kick off their journey with a strong foundation in tech exploration.

Day 2 features the Guangdong Science Center, providing an immersive STEAM experience that enhances students’ practical skills. At the University of Chinese Medicine’s history museum, they engage with faculty to blend science with cultural heritage, broadening their perspectives.

Day 3 includes visits to the Guangzhou Development Zone Science Museum and Metro Museum, deepening understanding of transportation and industrial technology. Exploring Yongqing Fang connects art with tradition, fostering creative problem-solving.

Day 4 showcases the Industrial Museum, where students gain insights into cutting-edge industrial innovations. This final day reinforces their technical knowledge and prepares them for future challenges.

Student Reflection

The Guangzhou STEAM High-Tech Exchange Tour (April 17-20, 2025) has given me a profound understanding of how STEAM connects to my personal growth and future career. At the University of Chinese Medicine’s history museum, engaging with faculty through interactive sessions helped me clarify my academic interests, blending science with cultural insights. The hands-on experiences at the Guangdong Science Center and Industrial Museum ignited my passion for technology, showcasing the incredible advancements in our nation’s innovation. Exploring the Guangzhou Development Zone Science Museum and Metro Museum deepened my appreciation for industrial and transportation technologies. The cultural visit to Yongqing Fang inspired me to balance tradition with modern creativity. Collaborating with peers during these activities enhanced my teamwork and communication skills. This 4-day journey broadened my horizons, provided clear direction for my future studies and career, and highlighted the opportunities STEAM offers in our rapidly growing region.
