DEVELOPMENT PLAN

The Careers Team organizes an array of programs and activities to help our students prepare for their careers life in the future.


Our development plan has the following objectives:

  1. To cope with the major concerns of the school development plan and the needs of students and parents to give careers support.
  2. To help students make informed choices about their careers and study: Further studies and careers opportunities. 
  3. To help parents who have to counsel their children regarding careers and further studies aspects: Ways of coping with the physical and emotional needs of their children in the run up to public examinations and the release of public examination results; and the resources available in society , (organizations and websites) to help parents
  4. To run the Careers Ambassadors Programme so as to nurture our students to be the modest, caring and knowledgeable leaders of the new era.
  5. To run the MCareers Programme to help our current students learn more about the working world and to help them start thinking about their goals in life.

Our careers programmes focus on the following aspects:

  1. Local: Providing information about Hong Kong’s tertiary institutes in the form of talks, visits, posters, pamphlets, books, video and resources on the web.
  2. Overseas: Providing information about overseas institutes in the form of talks, videos, posters, pamphlets, books and resources on the web.
  3. Group sessions:  Providing group counseling programmes to students to help them make choices about further studies, careers and study skills.
  4. Individual sessions:  Providing individual counseling service to students to help them make choices about further studies and careers.
  5. Parents:  Providing counseling service to parents.
