- To develop a sense of responsibility and self-discipline for students.

- To develop and support teachers in professional classroom management.
- To offer support to students with special education needs.
- To develop personal growth programme for junior form students.

- To serve fellow schoolmates.
Obligations
- Prefects are role models for other students to follow. Prefects must abide school regulations.
- Prefects must arrive on duty punctually.
- Prefects must ensure impartiality of justice.
General Duties
- Patrol the school campus during recess and lunch time.
- Maintain the general order in school assembly.
- Work on special school functions including Sports Day and Parents Day.
- Responsible for checking uniform for the whole school.
