2017-2018 End of Term Service and Prize Giving Ceremony ‹ BACK
Time flies. It was the last day of this school year on 12 July, 2018. We attended the End of Term Service from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm in the Sanctuary. Mr. Leung Shun Kwong, the Deputy Head of the School Education Division of the Methodist Church in Hong Kong and the principal as well as teachers and students all participated in the End of Term Service and Prize Giving Ceremony.

The ceremony kicked off with the school hymn. After that, Mr. Leung gave us a speech about what we should do to make the best use of our time during the summer holiday. Apart from developing our interests and enriching our knowledge, Mr. Leung advised us to set aside time for a Sabbath Day in a week. The purpose of the Sabbath is to give us an opportunity to direct our thoughts and actions towards God. It is not only a day merely to take a rest from work but also a sacred day to be spent in worship and reverence. It proved that walking with God is the best thing in life. Mr. Leung then presented prizes and awards to students who got excellent results in academic subjects and extra-curricular activities.

Last but not least, our principal, Miss Emily Wong, gave us an address about being wise. She shared a quote with us from Proverbs 4:23, “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it”. She also told us to have a relaxing summer holiday.

To conclude, the End of Term Service ended with wonderful music performances of the choir and the whole congregation singing the college song.
