Milestone 55 - A Glorious Night for All to Remember ‹ BACK
On the glorious 5th of July, magic happened again on the stage of Tsuen Wan Town Hall. Once again, the big family of Methodist College reunited to celebrate Methodist College’s Milestone 55: Dream Up High.
The show officially started with the School Song accompanied by the organ. Not only did it provide a majestic opening to the show but it also added a sense of nostalgic belonging to the audience. The organist, who is also an alumnus, gave us a breathtaking performance after the school song. Not to mention the Vocal Ensemble, the a cappella group of 6 formed by students and teachers. After the soothing chorus, the Choir from both Methodist College and Methodist School united and brought great joy and delight to the crowd, followed by Piano Trio and Orchestra which brought the audience close to the climax of the night. The highlight of the whole evening was the musical: Dream Up High. Performers sang and danced with passion and put up a spectacular show which was truly dynamic and full of energy.
The night wrapped up with the benediction from Reverend Chan Tak Cheong and some words of praise, thanks and encouragement by our principal, Ms Emily Wong. The night surely was a remarkable success showcasing the concerted efforts, talent and team work of all students and teachers to celebrate our 55th anniversary.
