School Ambassador Program 2017-18 ‹ BACK
Manners matter and courtesy counts. In today's competitive environment, it is crucial for students to develop the elements of politeness, in order to put their best foot forward at all times. There is a need for an awareness of the importance of etiquette and manners. Therefore, Methodist College has just launched a new programme, School Ambassador, this year. 33 students from Form 2 to Form 5 have been selected.

This program aims at nurturing passionate students to assist with different important school functions while developing their manners, personal grooming skills, interpersonal and presentation skills. We hope to equip our students with these skills, which could help smooth their path in daily activities, whether it is meeting others in their daily interactions, offering help to others properly, or understanding how to talk to guests or parents professionally in school events.
In order to become the School Ambassador, our students must attend three workshops in September and October in which, Ms. Mary Cheung, the Managing Director and Founder of Mary Cheung & Associates (International) Limited, will share her etiquette tips, interact and direct our students to develop their professional image. Two workshops already took place on 22nd and 29th Oct 2017.

Ms. Cheung is also a well-known host, writer, painter and photographer with works exhibited in overseas and Mainland China since 1989. Among her many awards are Miss Hong Kong title, Hong Kong Ten Outstanding Young Persons Award, Ten Outstanding Women, Ten Caring Stars of Hong Kong, Most Successful Women, Hundred Outstanding Female Entrepreneurs in China, and Outstanding Charitable Artist Award.

We look forward to our School Ambassadors to be upgraded professionally and lead a successful life in the future.
