Form 3 Radio Drama Competition Grand Final ‹ BACK
Have you tried putting up a drama performance by merely using your own voice supplemented with sound effects? That’s what the Form 3 students did when they took part in the grand final of the Radio Drama Competition organized by the English Department on 19th May. The competition is the climax of the learning of radio drama as part of the Language Arts curriculum in Form 3. Students wrote a script in groups on a sequel to their class reader “Matilda”, and performed a live radio drama in class afterwards. Under the guidance of our native and local English teachers, students received training on such knowledge and techniques as script-writing, voice projection and the production of sound effects. This project enables students to sharpen their presentation as well as their language skills.

Thanks to the English teachers, Ms Yan and Ms Sparrow for being the adjudicators.

Results of the grand final are as follows:
The Best Voice Projection – 3R
